LOWER: Some of the local folks who have grown or started growing beards and wearing period clothing for one of the many centennials or reenactments in the Baldwyn area. Standing, L-R Jimmy Tapp, Haddon Palmer, Doug Boxx, Jim Weeks, Bernard Coggins.

Jimmy Tapp had a dry, but great sense of humor, however, that "Beatle Wig" not being RED is a dead give away.
Sixty four was a memorable and fun year for the residence of our home town. It started with the Bearcats winning the Grand Slam basketball tourney and continued with the many fun events surrounding the centennial celebration. Great photo!

My apology to anonymous that posted yesterday and I removed it before thinking about his comment about Jimmy Tapp wearing a beatle wig. That does look a little funny.
Charles Weatherford was from a large family. How many consisted of the family?
I believe Charles Weatherford is one of six children. I think the birth order is Bill, Wyatt, Aaron, Charles, Brenda (Cole), and Linda (Windham).

Doug Waters is still well & thriving out in the Ingram community where he has always lived & raised his family/retired now/i think
The Order of the Eastern Star is a social order comprised of persons with spiritual values, but it is not a religion. It's appeal rests in the true beauty of the refreshing and character-building lessons that are so sincerely portrayed in its ritualistic work. A deep fraternal bond exists between its members.

CHARLES WEATHERFORD IS STILL LIVING AROUND BALDWYN, I HEARD. THEY SAID HE WAS A PAINTING CONTRACTOR BY TRADE.
Does anyone remember how all the girls liked Charles but no one could catch him. What a fun memory.
I am Carolyn Wheeler Ghys and I remember how we were all encouraged to go to college and how important it was to have good grades so we could get in. I think that encouragement continues through out my life. I feel if I am not learning something new all the time that I am not progressing
forward. I am curious how many of the class of 1960 went to college and what everyone did with there life. I did not keep up with anyone
until now. I'd love details.
