Mrs Martin was married to Sale Martin. Mrs. Martin was born 29 August 1905 and died 22 October 1995. Before she married she was Martha Ruth Lacroix and her father owned the gin at Frankstown. When Mrs. Martin left Baldwyn High School, her niece Louise Lacroix Dubard (Mrs. Jack Dubard) taught after her. Mrs. Martin's aunt Miss Gladys taught the first grade at Wheeler for orer 40 years. Miss Gladys died about 2 years ago; she was 105 years old!
I have three photos of Frankstown posted on this blog. One has the gin listed as LeCroy's gin. Wonder which spelling is correct? Search in the upper left box on the home page by putting in "Frankstown gin".
Not meaning to be nitpicking but for the sake of accuracy, Martha Ruth Milton Martin was the daughter of Elisha M. and Mary Emma Lecroy Milton.
Miss Gladys Lucinda Milton was Martha Ruth's sister. She did die at 105 in Apr of 2007.
I suspect that Lacroix may have been the original spelling, however, all the family grave markers have Lecroy.
I'm trying to remember Juanita Chisholm, do you have a photo of her, by chance?

Milton, thanks but I have it covered. Peg is my cousin from Antioch, TN. I have sent one already.
Carl, you and Milton are right about the name LeCroix. My grand father knew the owner of the Frankstown gin and he refered to him as Mordicai Lecroix and told me that he was Mrs. Martin's father. According to Milton, this would make Mr. Lecroix, Mrs. Martin's grandfather. When Mrs. Martin died, the paper said that Miss Gladys Milton was her aunt. It makes a person to wonder if Miss Halle Vandiver's sister, Miss Angie Milton was related to Mrs. Martin.

Angie Nelson was the wife of Dr. Jesse Howard Milton who died in 1927. (Some records have him listed as James Howard)
So far I have not been able to connect the two Milton families.
